Week Whatever it is

This week I read "What Einstein Told His Barber" by Robert L. Wolke. This book is a great nonfiction book about little random tidbits of science. It talks about everything from how to save yourself from a falling elevator to how to do an Ollie. Many random awesome facts to learn. I would recommend it to anyone who likes science or would like to know more about science. Amazing book.

Week 8 Reading

Hi,
The book I read last week was a two week book, so I continued to read the Fellowship of the Ring. Same deal as last time about author and genre. If you don't know 'em, I shun you forever. Also, if you haven't read this book, your reading has been very sheltered and you need to hurry up and read it. This book could very easily be the greatest book of all time, so if you are sitting there thinking "Well, I could read it, but fantasy is not really me kind of reading," just read it and get on with your life.

Week 7 Reading

This week I read The Fellowship of the Ring. If you don't know the author, I shun you forever.
This very well could be the greatest book in the world. It is some difficult reading to be sure, but it's story is amazing, and Tolkien easily could be the greatest story teller ever. He makes a very complicated and fantastical story seem simple and realistic. He also does a great job of describing the scene very well. It is very  easy to see what everything looks like and what everyone looks like. I think that everyone who has not read this book three or four times should stop what ever they are doing and read all of the Lord of the Rings books.

Week 6 Book

Title: Insurgent
Author: Veronica Roth
Genre: Dystopian Fiction
This book was in no way as good as its predecessor, Divergent. Insurgent spent too much time looking at the relationship in the book and the real story moved very slowly. It was still an ok book, because it is about war, but there was very little of that part. The plot was very predictable, and so as long as one has read Divergent, they know exactly what happens in Insurgent and how. Roth tried to add a twist in the middle, which was a very predictable twist, and she tried a twist ending, which was also very predictable.
Next week and the week after i will read The Fellowship of the Ring.
